Myself, my other half and how we live
After successful careers in film and photography, I am now pursuing my love of writing, which began in school and has continued on and off for years. Good stories, strong characters and engaging plot lines can transport readers and viewers to the very depths of their imaginations, allowing them to frolic with me in mine. I aim to have you sitting on the edge of your seat, cheering, booing and smiling, eagerly anticipating the next installment.
My wife, Wendy Hawkes, coincidentally has also taken up writing. She is penning a memoir of our traumatic experience surviving the 2019 CAT 5 hurricane Dorian that devastated our chosen new home of Marsh Harbour, Great Abaco in the Bahamas. As a result of that life-changing chapter, we now live full time on a power catamaran, Aquatania - our 'floaty' home or portable tropical island. We spend the summers on the East coast in a hurricane hole and the winters cruising the Bahamas or the Keys. Sounds idyllic, right? Well I can tell you it's not all sunshine and roses, but there's nowhere I'd rather be sitting at my computer writing. Surrounded by the gorgeous gin clear blue waters and gentle breezes. We are fortunate indeed to be here and to be joined by you on our adventures.
